is the sheet music same for piano and guitar?

our music teacher told us the staff goes down to up like 1 on the bottom so for a treble cleff, g would be on the second line, and he told us not to remember any patterns like every good boy does fine b/c too many kids find it hard to get away from it, idk if thats true. but i suppose different people learn different ways. thanks for the vids. they really help

I thought it said Greedy Birds Don’t Fly Away before you said Green. I could see a greedy bird not flying away when it should.
