Its called Hog boiling time….like Pigs. And yes they barbequed his body after he was killed and served it to all the ass holes in town (notice how they dont serve it to everyone)
The part where there beating Big George is sickening. Especially how he just stood there having to take it. I dont understand how people can actually be that hateful and evil. It is disgusting.
they did barbique franks body because after he died idgie told big george “it’s hard boiling time” and then sipsey told that cop the secrets are in the sauce” when he was eating franks body lol
In the book it is made totally clear that Frank’s body was cut up and barbequed and his skull was found buried with a bunch of fish heads. In the movie I think they try to make it obvious that they barbequed him without actually coming right out and saying it.
Frank Bennett feels threatened & had to take out his savagery & insecurities on Big George (racial element) & his wifey (gender element). He’s quite pathetic & that BBQ prolly did not even taste all that good!
the KKK members are, in their minds “good church going folk”…yet they don’t respect their fellow man….no sir, they savagely kill their fellow man. nasty hypocrites

Actually, we don’t really know that’s what was done with Frank’s body. Jesssica Tandy’s character says that was the rumor, but it was only hearsay.

It was just hunks of meat that they’d chopped up, I believe
February 8th, 2010 on 3:10 pm
Oh wow. Well how could they make certain body parts resemble Barbeque?
February 8th, 2010 on 3:36 pm
Nope, food. That’s especially evident when Sipsey says “Secrets in the sauce!”
February 8th, 2010 on 4:03 pm
