You are wonderful and watching your video makes me so nostalgic being reminded of my own Italian grandmother and my mother who both lived through the depression and carried so many of the delightful and simple recipes to future generations. watch any cooking show the top chefs never even bother to rinse it:S the water that boils with the pasta will kill any germs you may be afraid of while rinsing the pasta.

I just bought Clara’s cookbook. In addition to good tasting, simple recipes, there’s a lot of wisdom in this book as well. Even in these tough times, we’re pretty fortunate compared to those that lived in through the 1930’s.. She reminds me of my great-grandmother, who used to be able to make a great meal from practically nothing.
