As for Japanese beef it, there is not a parasitic worm.
The beef of the highest grade is edible directly.
Even if the best cow looks for it in the world, it is a thing only for Japan.
BSE does not have to mind the diseases entirely.

it is cooked. It’s the same as having a rare or medium steak

I had FAILed experience with shabu shabu last year at the Narita airport lmao! I dumped a plateful of raw meat and veggies all at once and pretty much ruinedthe experience for everyone!!! Mom sorry!!!

  • arixue

chill guys, its like eating steak thats medium rare..lol

  • seaangela

No. The beef is already cooked when it’s shabu-ed in hot boiled water. The slice of beef is very thin and in a few seconds, it can be cooked. I don’t know where you are, but you can buy beef slices specially for shabu-shabu in Korean market. Or you can use slice machine to cut the beef into slices yourself. Both would work.

Well you were the one who started saying bullshit about raw meat being dangerous. Raw meat isn’t dangerous, only shitty american 3rd choice meat.

About my mom… Why did you leave us like that, dad? I grew up without you and that’s how you talk to your son? Well that’s pretty decieving…

  • 1CME90

@HerrTenko…STFU you French faggot, you started talking to me first! That whore you call Mom knows all about my quality meat.

  • HerrTenko

Oh well, it’s not my problem if you guys aren’t able to find quality meat.
Go back to your 3rd world countries and stop bothering me.

  • 1CME90

@HerrTenko…Dabbing the meat in boiling water for a second isn’t cooking it. If you try that with a piece of meat that has parasites in about a month you will shit out a rope with teeth.

  • HerrTenko

    It’s not raw.
Can’t you see she cooks it in the boiling stock? Yeah, it’s short, but the meat itself is sliced really thinly.

    Pork. Or chicken.

its fine. its just like when ordering beef steak in rare form. if u want it medium cook longer. well even longer. personal preference. :)
but for japs. they often eat fresh raw meat. so i guess they are ok with it rare. or rather they enjoy it.
eat everything in moderation and u are fine. eat raw only using FRESH meat. else its safer to cook well to get rid growth of bacteria.

  • ecoweho11

    it looks great just delicious

  • TheYellowAmerican

Yeah. but supposedly the meat is “cured” when mixed with all the ingredients.

  • heavend89

well generally speaking- yes you can get parasites from either uncooked pork, fish or beef. BUT a lot of dishes like shabu-shabu, sushi or carpaccio use raw or almost raw meat/ fish. i guess it just depends on the quality of the meat/fish you buy. if you buy good quality beef you should be able to enjoy this dish perfectly fine without any worries about parasites.

  • 1CME90

WTF, I thought you were supposed to cook beef? Can’t you get worms from eating beef that is raw?

  • greeneyedmonster666
