by admin on Feb.09, 2010, under Novel

Based on a novel, this beautiful period film centers on a tomboyish detective by the name of Nam Sun (Ha Ji Won, from Love So Divine and Phone) who ends up being assigned to investigate a case revolving around some counterfeit coins. Going deep undercover in a variety of diverse disguises, Nam Sun quickly finds herself chasing after a notorious assassin named Sad Eyes (Kang Dong Won, from Too Beautiful to Lie and Romance of Their Own), who just may be involved in the crime she’s investigating. …..i do not own this video…..no copyright infringement intended……

its funny, in the end they’re still “tail”-ing him.. i really do love swordplay thing, cuz its cool and some many things r expressed within swordfighting. its not really fighting, its like way of expressing themselves. its like the only time they can show their love and passion for each other.. idk there are just too many things untold but expressed

Honestly speaking, although I understood the plot, about 90% of it was lost and burried behind the swordplay and the relationship between the main two characters.
I loved the swordplay to dance analogy and although I don’t get how he would have survived the end I like that he did. I wouldn’t be opposed to a sequal, even if I won’t pay attention to the plot, because it’s the first time I cared less about the plot then the random scenes with the two characters. :P

Both of the main actors acted so well. HaJiwon amazed me again with her acting skills. Im so amazed on how she can portrait different roles, and do it excellently. I can’t even get forward from the sword fighting she did with Kang Dong Won.KangDongWon amazed me on how portrayed this very serious role. I was used to seeing him act on Funny movies and dramas. So this is a big deal seeing him being serious all throughout the movie.his swordfighting skills are

I’m pretty sure I didn’t understand the movie. But Ha ji won threw me off with her amazing acting once again.

thank you for this film!:) Kang Dong-won is absolutely amazing actor!!! I love his movies and drama! In particular temptation of wolves and then this. He is Able to empathize their roles…!! I love his perception of emotions in films! Just that he looked at his sad eyes… I starting cry!:’(
    …Sorry my English is bad..-_-”

  • dudleyc89

Well, he didn’t die because she’s holding the gift he bought for her. So quite possibly he somehow managed to get away, that dude telling the story saw them dance and the two cops are just after him all over again…. i think… lol

sad eyes is really attractive and i really like the fight in the end but i really don’t understand the movie at all. It has a lot of metaphors and symbolisms that is very hard for me to decipher. I think this is a very good movie only if all the symbolisms and metaphors are unlocked. The only thing that i was able to decipher is the red robe in the fight scene, i am sure that the meaning of this is death, so i think sad eyes as they call him died at the end of the movie.

  • jenyenhong

same here i confuse also what this movie about .. all dark =.=

  • ImmortalElyzabeth

I’m not going to think that he died, if it really is a viewer interpretation kind of movie… Lolz
I fell in love with Sad Eyes. ^-^

  • MlKYkim

    He’s definitely dead.
His red robe at the end is symbolic of his death.
